The front control arms, upper and lower, on 356A thru 356C models have a needle bearing on the outer end of the arm. A sleeve pressed over the arm tube forms the inner race of the bearing.
Originally, one long needle bearing was used up thru 356B models. That bearing is long discontinued. Today, two bearings are used, back to back. You will need eight bearings per car.
For 356C cars, the control arm has a shorted sleeve which takes just one bearing plus a plastic spacer. You will need four bearings and four spacers per car.
For the spacer, see 695 341 108 00.
