A magnetic drain plug is an easy way to add protection to your Porsche 356 or 912 engine.

The integrated rare-earth magnet will remove any suspended iron particles from the oil. Inspection of the magnet during an oil change allows for an easy way to monitor the health of your engine.

Tip: It is a common misconception that 356/912 drain plugs used copper crush washers for sealing. In fact, the 356/912 engine never used a washer. Using a crush washer can result in damaging/distorting the drain hole on your engine case causing leakage.
